4 steps before you can empower yourself to quiet your mind

Step 1. Learn to control your breath to calm your nervous system

Step 2. Learn to focus your attention. Learn to be present.

Step 3. Become the observer of your thoughts and feelings without reacting to them

Step 4. The more you practice step 3, the more you will experience less resistance from your mind.

This is when you can start to discover finding little moments of finding peace within... it is from that place that we can make better choices, create new ideas and transform your life.

Meditation is the practice of stilling your mind.

Just like going to the gym, you have to learn and practice to make change it.

The above is super hard to do as we are wired to be distracted, and multi-task, and ignore our feelings.

Leaders who learn to quiet their mind will have a better chance to overcome emotional challenges at work.
